Times of the signs

First Armenian Evangelical Church, Beirut, Lebanon

Today we continue our discussion on worship, signs and wonders, sharing some of the letters we’ve received since we covered this controversial topic in yesterday’s program. A little later, we bring you the story of a religious studies professor at a major university who says that the not-guilty verdict in the George Zimmerman case is proof that God is a racist.

Up first, the landscape of the modern mainline Evangelical movement is shifting in purpose and vision. What will this mean for the Evangelical Church? With us in our first segment is Eric Barger. Eric’s Take A Stand! Ministries confronts both the culture and the Church, focusing on the troubling unbiblical trends and doctrinal issues facing Christians.

One Response to Times of the signs

  1. Linda says:

Your last two broadcasts have been extremely interesting for me. I also have come out of signs and wonders teachings. I would only like to reiterate that the concept of hypnotism or sorcery is right on! I have my own personal blog page and am blogging about "Christian Spiritism," because I believe that is what is happening.
I come out of Mormonism, Occult Spiritism and landed in the Charismania teachings that are nothing short of Christian Spiritism.
It feels like the Holy Spirit is revealing this truth through your ministry, Eric Barger, Jan Markell and a multitude of other high profile ministries.
I so agree with your loving admonition to the Church. I was radically saved in the Charismatic movement and my heart was and is for more of Jesus. Many of my brothers and sisters are still in that mindset but unknowingly snared by Satan's counterfeit teachings. Please continue on with your broadcasts exposing, with love, what the enemy is up to.
