Sunni vs. Shiite: Why Christians should be very concerned

MB TVThere is a war going on between the Sunni and the Shiite Muslims, “brother against brother.” Just this morning in Egypt, a deadly shooting at the site of a sit-in by Muslim Brotherhood supporters in Cairo, demanding the reinstatement of ousted President Mohamed Morsi, has left at least 42 people dead and hundreds injured.

Isaiah 11 and 19, Psalm 83, and many others specifically talk about Egypt.

None of this has anything to do with you, does it? After all, why should you, a Christian living your life for Christ, care about groups from another religion fighting? Great question.

  1. Ronda says:

Such a shame if someone has taught such filth to such youngsters!

  2. James says:

And who says that Muslims bring up their children in a peaceful loving way? This shows the world just how programmed these kids are to hate. Sadly, they are taking on the adults thinking and they have no idea what they are speaking about.
What is even worse, in North America they can plant these mindsets into them as well, but if anyone speaks of the Bible and Jesus Christ, they are crucified persay. Sadly, N. America supports these violent mindsets to be taught here and call it religious freedom, but there is no religious freedom for Christians who preach love.

  3. James says:

There have been ideas about putting a stop to parents who teach their kids about Jesus as the kids should make their own decisions when they get older. If not, they call it child abuse. What in this world would you call these instructions on hate? Talk about mind abuse to children is horrific, but for many groups it is called religious freedoms, but for Christians who love Jesus Christ it is called abusive.
I would rather be abusive and see my child living with Jesus for eternity, than to teach the Islamic lies and send them to hell for eternity of non ending torcher.
In Jer chapter 1 it refers to how Christians will endure battles, but our Holy Father will be there to lead us out of it and protect us. Regardless what it is. I am so happy that I serve a Risen Savor who will be there through it all for us, and all we have to do is stay close to him and maintain our strength as we go through these times of struggle.
