Here comes the hail

English: Hail

Today we are talking about the reaction to two hugely disappointing rulings by the U.S. Supreme Court yesterday that paved the way for homosexual marriage. God’s judgement isn’t coming; it has already come in that decision, as our nation has been turned over to its depravity. It’s the topic everyone has on their minds today as we discuss what’s next for the visible church. A lot of you are sharing Scripture and excellent comments about that.

We’re also covering a about why Focus on the Family is affirming and holding up for admiration a singer and admitted Christian universalist Bono as someone to follow, by giving him a platform and a voice in their ministry.

It seems that the rainstorm of apostasy in American churchianity has gone from a sprinkle to a downpour – and finally to hail. A remnant continues to take cover from these storms that are only getting worse. We need to bury ourselves in His Word. And in our first segment, we’re going to challenge you to overcome some of the things that are getting in your way of doing that.

Joining us in studio is author Chris Elliott, who has written a book called Thought Shredder.

  1. Gary Lee Fennimore says:

Jesus Christ thoroughly warned us and His Apostles did so equally about the mass deceptions that would happen within the very confessing biblical church walls of today. Christ even chastised 5 of 7 Churches before 100 years had passed since the Church's founding. People had better understand ALL of scripture and most especially the prophetic portions in Revelation that include a blessing for doing so in Rev. 1.

  2. Marie says:

You are correct in your statements Fennimore.

  3. Marie says:

Please allow me to apologize to you….in a hurry, I neglected to type Mr. Fennimore, as you should be addressed as such. Please forgive me.

  4. Ima Believer says:

America will reap what it sows. Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Sin brings it's own death and destruction. Do not blame the resulting calamity of America's choices upon God or God's judgement. God through Jesus Christ came to bring us life. The thief (Satan) comes to kill, steal and destroy. (John 10).

God's judgement was poured out on Jesus Christ. The price was paid in full.

    • Xississ says:

      Read the book of Revelation.

      • Ima Believer says:

What is that you would have us read in Revelation?

I love this praise and worship scripture:

"…Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come… Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." — Revelation 4:8-11

      • Xississ says:

The point is that there IS a judgement of God coming to this earth.( trumpets, vials) In fact,Jesus Christ himself will come down here taking vengeance on his enemies and
practically killing everything in sight. And that's in the Bible

      • Ima Believer says:

That is correct. There is a judgment that is coming. If you choose not to believe in Jesus Christ, you will be judged.

But as people sow sin, they will reap death. That is not the Heavenly Father judging them or pouring out wrath upon them. That is the natural consequence of sowing and reaping.

God is not the thief, Satan is.
God is not the murderer, Satan is.
God is not the destroyer, Satan is.
        God is the LIFE GIVER!

John 10:10 The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I (Jesus) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Do you truly blame God for death, disease, and destruction?

God loves us. He gave us Jesus. The Father is for us. Romans 8:1-39
