The Church’s last guardrails

Westbound SR 18 guardrail repair

For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ. (Galatians 1:10)

When young people say they’ve left the Church because of hypocrisy, what kind of hypocrisy are we talking about? Could it be that they see ministry leaders and parents embracing worldly culture rather than engaging it for the sake of the Gospel, or dying to themselves?

When the Church begins to look exactly like the world to please men, it seems that the Church is dismantling guardrails established by Christ Himself, who said,

18 ”If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. 19 ”If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.  (John 15:18-19 NASB)

15 Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. 17 The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever. (1 John 2:15-17 NASB)

It maybe the young people leaving the church because there not getting anything out of church. I think us older adults are going to start leaving the church because were not getting anything out of church either.
I know that were going to have to start seeking God and God only in these last days.

I hear the statement alot that there is no such thing as a perfect church. I vehemently disagree. The Chruch is the Bride and Body of Christ Jesus, who alone is Perfect and being such is in very nature perfect. Colossians 1:21-22. And if the Church is not perfect Christ died in Vain and we who claim His name are still under the wrath of God.
We have been reconcilled to God through the Blood of Christ Jesus and His death on the Cross, where He tasted Death for All who would ever be redeemed. Colossians 2:8-14
So the Bride is Perfect as the Body of Christ is perfect and it is the Holy Spirit by which we have Power to become the sons and daughters of God being made conformable to His image. The same brings us to repentance through true fear of the Lord Isaiah 11:2-4, The Washing and Regeneration that comes by the Spirit of God also proclaims us righteous, forgiven, accepted in the beloved-The Savior of the World, The Lord's trusted servant, Who is God. This He did taking our sins upon Himself and giving to us His righteousness as our covering, our authority.

A sign that we are His is we will walk as He himself walked: 1 John 2:3-6 in obedience to His word and the word of those He sent and where we find ourselves acting contrary to the scriptures, we are cut to the heart and repent because of the insolence of our actions against a Holy Just Eternal King who is by definition Love. We see our own actions as a gross injustice an affront to our Heavenly Father and we also realize without His operation in us, what hope have we, to bring Glory to His Holy Name, A Name that is above All Names, YES Christ Jesus to whom every knee will bow and every tongue confess is LORD to the Glory of God. Every Knee whether in Heaven, in Earth and Under the Earth, all of creation will come and pay homage to the KING. Jesus of Nazareth. YES because of this we cast our selves moment by moment at the mercy of Our Lord and savior pleading with Him, to work in us that which is pleaseing in His sight, namely that we bear good fruit to His Glory and stop being self willed.

The Bride is scattered and you do not find her in the prominant places, she is looked down on and ridiculed for she doesn't any longer desire the offerings of this world, they no longer appeal to her. She finds it detestable when she finds herself being drawn by them. She is about service to others and cost is no object for she will spend all she has in service until she is spent. Her hands are open to the stranger the orphan and the widow and she doesn't resist evil. She always point away and lifting up others saying don't look to me I am not Christ and apart from Christ I am nothing. When you find her, if you are part of her, you will know her and the Spirit will testify with your Spirit you are One. She has been scattered for a purpose to speak the truth and life in dark obscure places and to be salt and light, until such a point she is driven away or killed. For what fellowship has darkness with Light they are contrary to each other. She trusts herself to the One who will vindicate her and in the end she will be found spotless for she is in Christ and that she is sure of. Nothing else matters.

What can man hope for, but to found in Christ Jesus as His Bride, His darling, His Body for apart from Christ there is only terror and eternal judgement, for the sin is grievous and the One offended is Holy and Eternal. You yourself will condemn yourself in that day. You will leap into that Fire because you are compelled to, being convinced of the righteousness of God and are deserving the fate that awaits you for you will see the face of God and then no more: Yes even into the Fiery pit where the worm doesn't die and the fire is never quenched an eternal torcher, a just judgement! Isaiah 66:22-24, Matthew 25:41

Awake from your sleep, the time is near make yourself ready for your groom is coming soon.

Mike& Amy , God's word(The Holy Bible) is the one tangable thing that has come down to us through the years. We who believe see it as perfect, complete, without error. When we witness we quote from it. We try our best to live by what it teaches except when we do holidays.I ask any christian to show me a place in God's Word where we are told to celebrate Christmas, Easter,or worse yet Haloween! My father who was an engineer taught me to look at systems. If there is an error in one part of the system, the whole system has to be subject. Our children look for things that don't add up and those holidays don't add up. Giving them just one more reason to doubt….Dave from Kewaunee
