Stand by: We are experiencing growing pains

English: Podcast or podcasting icon Français :...

We love when you write or call to tell us how Stand Up For The Truth has sharpened your faith, equipped you in the Word and informed you about issues that affect the Church. In these past two-and-a-half years, our audience has grown explosively and we get new listeners every day.

That kind of growth is fantastic, except for one thing. Many of you are telling us you can’t hear us. Here’s two separate technology glitches we are working on:

Our Live Stream

Our online streaming audience during Stand Up For The Truth’s live show has exceeded both our hardware’s and online service’s capacity to handle the traffic. As a result, many of you can’t hear us over the internet.

The good news is that there is a new hardware available that will increase our bandwidth for the live stream to accommodate our growing audience.

Our Podcasts

Some of you have told us you can’t download our daily show recordings. Almost daily, we hear, “I love your show, but every time I listen to the podcast, I get halfway through and it starts over.” Or, “Why won’t your podcast download to my_____ (device)?”

There a solution available for this too.  We soon will have a “dedicated” server that will handle the website traffic (including our podcast listeners) for years to come.

Both of these forthcoming solutions are not just technical in nature; they are significant financial investments we’ve needed to make to improve our technology to serve our listeners.

We thank you for your patience and support as we make some big changes!
