GLSEN Day of Silence 4/19: What are your options?

dosThe Day of Silence, which is sponsored by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), will take place in most public schools on April 19. Thousands of public high schools and increasing numbers of middle schools are promoting the idea that students should remain silent for an entire day to promote homosexuality. Our public high schools, funded by federal, state, and local funds, are governed by the federal regulations mandating that every child is educated by funds provided by taxation.

What options do parents and students have? One of your options is to keep your child home from school that day. According to the Illinois Family Institute, who is once again sponsoring the Day of Silence Walkout:

Parents should call their children’s middle schools and high schools to ask whether the administration and/or teachers will be permitting students to remain silent during class on the Day of Silence.

If students will be permitted to remain silent, parents can express their opposition most effectively by calling their children out of school on the Day of Silence and sending letters of explanation to their administrators, their children’s teachers, and all school board members. One reason this is effective is that most school districts lose money for each student absence.

Why is this even been address in our school system. This is nothing but a pure unadulterated perversion, it's not normal, and no one is born biologically this way
This is nothing but a free will choice giving your mind and body over to the deception and the lie of the enemy of your soul Satan

April 19 would be a good day to remind everyone [since GLSEN brought this up] that any sexual activity aside from that which takes place between a husband and wife who have been joined to each other is an abomination before the only Holy God.

Many have protested that "God made me a homosexual" when the fact is that He did not. Gen 2:24 "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh." THAT IS HOW GOD MADE EVERYONE. It is man who has chosen, in his rebellion, to try and change what God has done.

The opportunities to speak out on this issue without fear of reprisal will become few and far between in the days ahead.

I'm sorry people but if this gay marriage admenment gets passed God is going to send his wrath upon the U.S.A. It's time we so called Christians I included stand up and call this gay marriage admenment sin.

  4. M Walker says:

It is a day of silence AGAINST BULLYING. Ir sounds like you so-called Christians are in favor of bullying. Maybe all the gay kids will commit suicide if you're lucky? Is that the plan?
