Stemming the tide

English: Ocean surface wave.

What is “The Most Dangerous Cult” invading Christianity?  Some say it’s the New Age mystics, who promise we can adopt unbiblical ways to experience the spiritual realm. Others say it is Universalism, or Human Secularism. But there is another ism that one watchman says has been even more dangerous, and that is Christian Progressivism, the idea that we should look at the Bible as a nice collection of thoughts, but not something we should trust as God’s inerrant Word.  Later in the program we’re going to hear from Eric Barger on some of these trends impacting the Body of Christ.

Eric Barger

Eric Barger’s early years as a record producer and musician lead to a drug habit and took him on a path into New Age spirituality. Until he was turned around by the Truth and transformational love of Jesus Christ. In the years since, Eric has built his life around God’s Word and helps people learn about Him through his research in Christian apologetics.

Eric’s Take A Stand! Ministries confronts both the culture and the Church, focusing on the troubling unbiblical trends and doctrinal issues facing Christians.
