Dangerous trends for American Christianity

Window at Parish Church of St Peter, Frampton ...

Today we’re going to give you an overview about the State of the Church in 2012, based on research, trends and movements we’ve seen mushroom and grow in our churches. It seems that every church has its challenges, and we’re going to barely scratch the surface. We’ll start this conversation – but certainly won’t end it – in segment 2. Then later we’re going to share some thoughts on the so-called “war on Christmas.” Are we getting our undies in a bunch and fighting the wrong war? But first we’re going to check in with a man who has been watching some disturbing things happening in and to the Bride of Christ over the past several decades.

bill-murrayWilliam J. Murray‘s book, My Life Without God, is enjoying a resurgence for a new generation. William is a strong advocate who speaks out against the persecution of Christianity in America and around the world as chairman of the Religious Freedom Coalition, a non-profit organization in Washington, D.C., and is active on issues related to aiding Christians in Islamic and Communist nations and founded ShariaFreeUSA.org. His mother was the founder of American Atheists was Madeline Murray O’Hair. You may remember that she also won the landmark lawsuit on behalf of her son William that effectively banned prayer in public schools. Thankfully William did not follow her path, and works to fight religious persecution around the world. (Check out his Capitol Hill Updates blog.)

One Response to Dangerous trends for American Christianity

  1. Mr Davis says:

    Dangerous Trends?

You mean like laying aside the Gopsel of Christ Jesus so we can concentrate on heart felt needs instead of a desperate need for personal salvation because we are all morally evil. (its funny: your heart felt needs, all amount to the lusts of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life and these things we are supposed to hate.)

You mean like laying aside the whole counsel fo God and only speak to what suits us and when we or any other present are rubbed by the word we explain it away. (Promoting lawlessness)

You mean like preaching "sprinking a little Jesus on your pagan life is good enough, God really doesn't expect you to live a Holy life. Only pastors need to do that.

This is why carnal men keep coming so that our so called pastors keep getting paid, are you sure you want to stop all this.
