Mosque: The day after

Royal Navy Submarine HMS Triumph Silhouetted i...Last week we told you about an open house event a local mosque was holding in Green Bay, right in our backyard. As you know Mike had been praying about whether to attend or not, and many of you weighed in about that, and prayed for Mike as he made the decision to go, and ask the local imam (Muslim religious leader) some questions. Some of our local listeners went along, and we’re going to tell you what happened in the second segment.

But first we’re going to turn our attention to the Middle East, and if you haven’t been paying attention to the news, you’re going to want to listen up.

For Christians, it has never been more important to study what is happening in the Middle East than right now.  We want to go beyond the headlines and beyond speculation about tonight’s presidential debate on foreign policy. Many scholars are asking, is biblical prophecy being fulfilled before our eyes? Experts believe there is going to be war in the Middle East, and it is just a matter of time until it happens. Iran has gone “all-in” on developing a nuclear program and it has become a matter of national pride at this point. Israel has said it can ever allow Iran to develop the capability to build nuclear weapons.

And now it has become clear that the United States could be a major player in all of this, depending on who wins the November election.

Today we’re joined by guest David Dolan, an American author and journalist who has lived and worked in Israel since 1980. David has worked for Voice of Hope radio in war-torn southern Lebanon, as well as CBS radio. Davis also writes a regular opinion column for World Net Daily. He was also just up in the Appleton, Wisc., area a few weeks ago for the Great Lakes Prophecy Conference at Calvary Chapel.

Isalm is a real threat and that evidenced by what happens others places it comes to roost. It is time to wake up, to pray with our eyes wide open and ears wide open and not presume anything any longer. We are not due anything and really if our focus is on the Kingdom to come the new Heaven and earth and The Righteous of God as revealed in Christ our goal will then be that we be counted worthy to suffer for the name of Christ Jesus. But until then:

1 Corinthians 7: 20 Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called. 21 Art thou called being a servant? care not for it : but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather. 22 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant. 23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men. 24 Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.

This command points to our obedience to God is not dependant on our circumstances but on Christ who works in us sanctification transforming us from glory to glory in whatever circumstances He has called us. And He is faithfull to do it. Let each one work with his own hands.

May Paul's boast be ours and our life reflect his life, holding up his example as what it means to be a follower of Christ Jesus: Acts 20:33 I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel. 34 Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me. 35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

May the peace of God guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, by whom are all spiriual blessings.

Regarding the imam's response to your question: Is Jesus the Son of God?

He like many other people tried to land in the gray area. People who claim that Jesus is not God but was a good person, a prophet or a great teacher.

In John 10:31 & John 14:10 Jesus declares that I and My Father are one.
In John 14:6 Jesus declares "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

Jesus removes the gray area, it is black & white. Either you believe He is your Lord & Savior, the Son of God or you believe that He is a liar and a false prophet.

I can't help but feel Islam is only a tool used in accomplishing a greater objective.

  4. Zach says:

9/11 was the catalyst event which brought us into all of our latest wars in the middle east under the guise of "the war on terror." Unfortunately, this false narrative has even Christians controlled into thinking that the event that started it all, 9/11, was actually planned and executed by Muslim extremists living in the caves of Pakistan. I am saying all of this as a Christian and as a truth seeker. I have done extensive research and I have recently written an article which was posted on my blog (below).

At this point, one third of Americans believe 9/11 was an inside job and even more fascinating is that there is actually proof to back this up, as opposed to the fabricated nonsense our media and government put forth to explain the events. I have spoken to architects, like Richard Gage of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, and other researchers who demonstrate astounding evidence that 9/11 was set up by insiders and that the three world trade centers that fell in New York City came down due to pre-placed explosives. I feel compelled to say that as Christians we need to go to bat for the truth even if it proves to be more grueling and less socially acceptable.
