The Fleecing of Christianity

It seems no one wants to rock the boat anymore. We’ve become a Body of sheep who have been groomed by the world and by the Church that Christianity is about being nice and being tolerant.  It has made us vulnerable not only to full-on frontal attacks, but subtle, sweet sounding lies that almost sound like through.

How does a new believer wade through this dangerous and exciting journey without straying?

Today we’re meeting Jackie Alnor, a veteran researcher and defender of the faith. She hosts a weekly radio program on the Rapture Ready Radio network called the Apostasy Alert, and has a website by that same name. She is the author of the book, The Fleecing of Christianity.  Jackie has been monitoring, taping, and documenting religious programming since the 1980s and her clips have been used by many apologetics ministries in many video exposès.

One Response to The Fleecing of Christianity

  1. Mr Davis says:

Know the Gospel. We are lost in utter and complete depravity, even so the grace of God prevents us from being as evil as we could be. Yet we do not acknowledge that it is God who does this. No we take credit for that ourselves. We dare to look left and right thinking ourselves not as wicked as our fellow man. Furthermore we believe of mankind, that we are basically good in and of ourselves, that we are more or less innocent. When calamity comes we refuse to acknowledge God's just decree that the wages of sin is death. We refuse to acknowledge God's soveign act in His creation to bring judgement on the wicked. We refuse to acknowledge God's forbearance for since the flood ended in which the world of old perished in its wickness that the creation even now awaits a just and fiery destruction to come. Ever day, every moment the Lord delays allows for some to repent and turn to Him to put our faith in the Righteousness of God, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Will we do that? Will we repent? Will we forsake all we haved learned that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, against His counsel? It isn't in us to do this. It isn't in us to turn to God. We would rather in our flesh and our stony hearts deny His existance and continue to walk in our own self will. Can we see we are helpless? Are we so deceived as to think we can Love God without him intervening in us and so boast of our Love of God? Christ said if you love me you will do what I command. Is this even our desire? Can we see how wretched we are bent as a bow against God and His annointed Christ. Oh that the grace of God would abound to us to see our desperation, our depraved condition that the desire to repent of our wickness would well up within us from the very depths of our soul. Oh that in that state of desperation the sufficiency of Christ would become evident to us that we would place our faith in Him and His finished work on the cross of calvary. Oh that we would know in our hearts though the Holy Spirit that God has made peace with us and that we are his children.

    Romans 8
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry , Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Oh let us not any longer place our faith in men but in Christ Jesus! Let us no longer put any confidence in men and their clever words and kind empty promises. Rather help us to follow after the righteousness of God in obedience to His word and to fellowship with those that do likewise, holding fast to his whole counsel.

Oh Lord grant us true repentance that we may continue in that mind of dependancy upon you in all things of life and living.

Oh Lord Jesus may You be gloried in us as You yourself Glorified the Father whom if the Holy Spirit is in us is our Father. And may we all be one in Christ.

Wake up Church, we are not well.
    Revelation 3

15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear ; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent . 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame , and am set down with my Father in his throne.
