A World, and a Church in Chaos

WTO protests in Seattle, November 30, 1999 Pep...

Today’s news headlines are pointing to a world in utter chaos.  As governments collide and people rise up to challenge the status quo, where does the Church stand in all of this? Are we losing our focus on making disciples, or are we letting the world shape the Church?

Today we’re examining the similarities between our society and the state of the Church in America and around the world, with our special guest Dr. Jake Jacobs. Jake shares his unique historical perspective on where we’ve come from and we are headed.  Jake’s new book, Mobocracy: This is what Democracy Looks Like, talks about the cultural and political war to destroy our republic and our God.  His passion and ministry is to teach, preach, proclaim those roots in Churches Seminars across America.  He also speaks to civic groups and partners with Freedom Project Education. One Response to A World, and a Church in Chaos

  1. Mr Davis says:

This is backwards, the culture mirrors the church. In our churches we have removed God as head in the body and put in His place man trained and endorsed by other men, whom we name "pastor" or "priest". A man we can see, touch and manipulate and form in an image suitable to us and who will tell us things pleasing to us. So it is natural for our culture to follow suit and they do.

This condition is 10's of centuries old, its foundings and pactices were rebuked in the prophets before Christ came. For these ways were and are the Jews ways who picked them up from the cultures they were to supplant. Who in thier wickedness, sought a righteousness apart from God, who seek a righteousness born of works, born of superstition. Any who follow this do not understand the Righteousness of God nor His Holiness.

Those who Hope in a righteousness apart from Christ are lost because Christ is the demonstration and incarnation of righteousness of God. That is why Jesus Christ testified: John 14:6 KJV Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

    and here in John 10
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one.
