We think sin is an act, but God says it is a process that’s been at work much longer than you realize.
With any temptation, we often ask God to take away the urge to sin. So why does this often fail? The answer is right in the Bible, and today we’re going to find out what Jesus says about snares and where they start. (Check out Matthew 5, 6 & 7.)
Satan’s goal is to marginalize God, Christ, the Holy Spirit and the Truth of God’s Word. He prowls like a roaring lion, but yet the enemy’s snares are so subtle that, just like a fly caught in a spider’s web, we don’t realize we’re stuck until it’s too late. And by then, our lives are changed forever.
Our special guest Dave Wager is here with some insights on snares and how to avoid them. Dave is the author of several books and the president of Silver Birch Ranch and Nicolet Bible College in northern Wisconsin.
